| Federally, this was 1997's top Liberal riding in Canada. And even if his Peterson cabinet record was mixed, Alvin Curling became such a folk hero through his immortal bladder-busting Queen's Park sit-in, in protest of the PC "Omnibus bill", that one would have to be mad to imagine him losing this time. |
