A rural Alberta riding - guaranteed slam-dunk for the Alliance. |

Only the native reserves and that funny little hangnail known as Crowsnest Pass show even the slightest ambivalence about handing Dr. Hill another Frank landslide. Remember: rolling ranchlands and foothills; a 30%+ Reform result in 1988... |

If this one doesn't go Canadian Alliance, then Grant Hill has either screwed-up royally, or screwed royality. Grant Hill is a very popular MP, and this can be called a "hick" riding, which is always prime Reform/CA ground. Hill won by 52% over the Liberal, which I believe was the second highest majority of any Reformers in 1997. |
