Though rifled through with outer-Outaouais Anglos and Morin Heights-style cottage country, it contains enough suburban Montreal Bloqzillas like Mirabel to anchor this fairly safely in the BQ column. Oh, and Oka's here, too...

Bloc didn't win huge here in '97... only by 7%, but I haven't seen any reason for the Liberals to be overtaking the BQ around here so far... For now I leave it as a BQ re-take, but things could change...

Since Lise Bourgault is back for another kick at the can, there is a slight possibility of an upset in the making. She has big election machine cojones and made lots of friends as a PC goombah for many years. She spread mega bux around when she was in power.Could be fun to see the dust fly. Besides Bloc Laframboise is from Notre-Dame-de-la-Paix. Mucho hinterland.

if Lib candidate can get most of PC vote can win - perhaps better chance since former Pc if Bloc holds this seat then spells trouble for Liberals outside of Montreal
