Just going by the fact that the PQ incumbent got 53.4% of the vote in '97, that would say to me that this seat will stay PQ unless thier is a major trend in Quebec I don't know about.

Given a lot of the overearnest Tories (or at least anti-Grit'n'Stockers) in here who've defied the trends by making PC predictions for the weirdest places, it's a wonder nobody's yet offered a PC prediction for Brian Mulroney's old riding. And in a funny way, Muldoon's ghost lives on; while the '97 PC candidate was a poor third in the riding at large, she was a strong second in Baie Comeau itself and even tied in a couple of polls...
