Based on Labours victory here last time, it would be hard to imagine that they could lose it this time, especially with the polling numbers in Labour's favour. Big Labour win on election night.

This funny red gash btw/deep-blue Beaconsfield and Windsor, always tops on the Labour list, became, through redistribution, one of only two notionally Labour seats in the gird of counties surrounding London--enough to scare the Tory incumbent away going into the '97 election. Nothing to scare Labour away now.
