Weston should easily retain this seat. Weston is a very well known and respected individual in the area and Jamieson is seen as a retread of years past (he was an MLA during the McKenna years). The NDP should not play a factor (and have yet to nominate anyone) as this riding leans towards the right (federally the Canadian Alliance has put up respectable results in this part of the province). I would peg the lawn sign ratio running at about 5:1 or higher for Weston (obviously very unscientific and I of course haven't seen every lawn in the riding!).

Too close too call, Weston not that good of a minister and Jamieson not that good of a candidate, the NDP will gain some votes, buy will hurt were???
