GV nailed it -a tough riding for the Libs to win anyway, nevermind this election. The make-up of the riding; part suburbs, part farms, etc. certainly creates a divide, so it will be fun to watch the polls trickle in on this one - but 1/5 for the Liberals in their past five outings would make this riding questionable even in the best case scenario for the Liberals. NDP for certain.

Despite the inconclusive winning margins from years gone by, I'm not convinced the BCL has a realistic shot at picking up a riding that they've only won once in the past five elections. The completion of the Golden Ears Bridge has already redounded to the government's benefit and likely won't do so again this time. The Liberals do, however, have the much better candidate (a city councillor).

Since this is a riding the NDP won last time I would say it is a hold for the NDP.

It is hard to see any opportunity for Liberals to take away any riding won by the NDP in the last election. NDP up, Libs way down.. while this will be closer than most of the others, this is another one in the bag for the NDP.
