Interesting race as Greens are strong here and you do have the son of Gordon Wilson so I wouldn't be surprised if you see an uptick in BC Liberal support. But unlike Gordon Wilson, I don't think Matthew Wilson has the profile to pull this off as this is naturally an NDP riding. |

I think that Nicholas Simons has huge support. I'm concerned that some voters who do support him will assume that he will get in and choose to show token support for the Greens instead. I could be wrong though since many Greens are not impressed by Weaver's coziness with the Liberals, whose policies are really horrible for the environment and the ordinary people that the Greens supposedly support. |

No way the well-established Simons loses this seat, although I would expect a very strong showing from Kim Darwin of the Greens. Signs are all over, including many laws throughout Gibsons, Sechelt and even in Powell River. The days of the unionized mill are almost over in PR, only about 350 jobs left there, more and more this is becoming Green-friendly...not this time out, but I wouldn't be surprised to see the Greens get a result in the 20's or even 30%. |

There's only one Wilson who could win this one for the Liberals, and he ain't the one running. |

Look for Nicholas Simons to win this riding comfortably for a 4th straight time. |
