Essex Council election results, where Conservative won 56 of 75 seats (gain of 14) and 49.51% of the votes, effectively forecasted continual Conservative dominance in this region. The county which once boasted some of the strongest support for UKIP in the country has turned its back on the party, where it lost all of its 9 seats. With UKIP in free fall, Conservative MPs in Essex effectively have no competition.

36% Tory Win here last time. They'll hold it without issue.
