In Hertfordshire local elections, Lib Dems retained the five local government seats in St Albans (lost St Stephens ward to the Conservatives and won St Albans North from Labour), with the party claiming it reflects their pro-European stance in the city which voted against Brexit. Tim Ferron came here the day after local elections. Clear sign that they are targetting this seat.

This seat was a squeaker for the Tories in 2010.
Farron held a post-Council vote rally in St Albans May 5th. It is a very strong remain-voting area.
From the Guardian:
'In St Albans, a remain-voting constituency where the party is challenging Tory Brexiter Anne Main, five of its eight wards went Lib Dem in the Hertfordshire county council elections, a swing that the party predicts would be enough to win the seat in June.'
27/04/2017 Jack Cox
24.212.227.58
23% Tory Win here last time. They'll hold this easily.
