The Star Wars over two "John Williams" candidates are about the biggest press this fairly standard urb-ru Alliance rubber stamp race will get. That there've been Decore-era Liberal MLAs here gives faint cause for Grit hope--but not much. Not much at all.

"The Real John Williams" will take this one easily, despite NDP efforts to try and confuse Alliance members. Although that's not to say that a well organized Liberal campaign couldn't mount a threat. In the 1997 provincial election, the PC candidate won by only 16 votes, which should show you that St. Albert all that far away from Redmonton...
