| This is a federalist riding. The Bloc have no sucess in this region and the PQ (provincial separatists) have a little organization in Beauce. The Tories will split the vote with the Bloc. |

| Both Provincial MLAs are Liberals. I actually saw someone refer to Beauce as a Separatist stronghold a while ago; I can only imagine that he/she was joking. |

| An anomalous pocket of free-enterprise federalist prosperity betwixt l'Estrie and Gaspe, filling that main drag connecting the Fields of Montcalm and Kennebunkport.
