Moderate seperatist favour... BQ won with 12.12% last time over the Liberals.

Actually, it was above average for BQ--and the lowest Charest PC vote in the capital region. I suspect because of the hip yuppie + civil servant undertones that emphasize BQ as a nominal "social democratic" force--or, at the very least, akin to the traditional left-Liberal/NDP strength in Ottawa Centre. Anyway, the "unknown" Gagnon has trounced Lib & PC stars before, she can do it again.

although the liberals have another credible candidate, the bloc won this riding by 12%, i believe that's too much ground to maake up. also the fact remains christiane gagnon is widely respected as a hard working mp who cares about her constituants, pencil this one in for the bloc as a hold.
