Failure to do so will be a major political reverse for the party. Having said that, they have always been perpetually on the verge of outpolling the UUP here, and have never quite done so - yet. |

Too close to call. This seat has always been projected to go to the DUP, but it never actually does! The NIUP may take crucial votes from the DUP, and McNarry's Orange credentials also count in his favour. However, one wonders who he will fare down the Peninsula, where Robinson is likely to score strongly. McNarry's uncertain stance on the Agreement is unlikely to play as big a part as people might think, but he is not so well known in some areas of the constituency and a low turnout would mean defeat for him. |
