There's not much doubt that Labour will win Wansbeck. However, it is not quite clear who will come second. The Lib Dems came from nowhere to almost steal control of Wansbeck Council from Labour in 1999. Of course local elections aren't everything and the Tories are still in a reasonably strong position but it will be interesting to see what happens here. |
