Being one of the Tory with the highest profile, Francis Maude should have no worries about re-election. His position in the shadow cabinet is quite shaky however. He should probably concerntrate his time on his revolt against William Hague after another stunning defeat for the Tories. Otherwise he will be destined to join Kenneth Clark on the backbench. |
