| Even if the Tories experience a province-wide revolt by voters, this riding went PC by such a huge margin in 1999 that the Tories should hold it with ease. This riding was former PC leader Danny Cameron's old stomping grounds during the McKenna years, so there is a Tory tradition established in the riding even when things are good for the Liberals. Moreover, the toll highway issue that pushed Bernard Lord over the top in 1999 focused on this riding more than any other in the province. | |||
