| Une circonscription plutôt souverainiste qui devrait demeurer bloquiste, mais ce ne sera pas aussi facile. La partie Maskinongé a une forte tradition libérale (Yvon Picotte), le PLQ y a gagné en avril 2003. Quant à la partie Berthier, elle a été amputée par le redécoupage de villages très souverainistes de la Matawinie (ex; St-Côme). Cette circonscription ainsi redécoupée est donc bien différente de l'ancienne circonscription de Michel Bellehumeur. | |||
