| This riding has voted for a right wing party in every election since 1921. (1921 it went Labour). I have a good feeling this will go Conservative again. Art Hanger is a very popular Member of Parliament, and if he's still around when or if the tories become a government he will be a cabinet minister for sure. I think the Conservatives will get nearly 70% of the vote here. | |||

| There is no question that Art Hanger will repeat. He has won in landslides ever since Reform was still Reform instead of Reformed into the Conservatives. No indication of the Liberals parachuting in a star candidate for this riding. Their focus will be on ridings they could possibly win. This is not one of them. | |||
