Would expect an experienced campaigner like Jeremy Corbyn to hold the seat. But I am sure the Lib Dems will come very close possibly the margin may be between 1500-2000 votes. |

Now this seat will be interesting to watch. If Labour can hold on, it proves maybe things are not so bad for them. If, however, the LibDems can steal it, it would mean that party has really broken though. |

LD target #117. Incumbent has held since 1983, a previous historic election low for Labour, and is a left wing rebel who has frequently defied the now unpopular government. No expense issues. The local incumbent popularity will probably carry him through what could otherwise have been a very rough LD ride. Lab Hold. Ladbrokes: Lab 1/7 LD 4/1 Con 100/1 |
