It would be a very bad night for the Tories if they cannot gain a seat this marginal. The Labour machine is decimated locally, holding only two seats on council. And then there are reports of infighting among unions, and of course McCarthy-Fry’s husband is not exactly helpful for them. The Tories are not even fighting that hard, probably assuming they have this locked up and focusing on neighbouring seats.
