Lawrence Putnam correctly fingers future gentrification as an issue in this riding. But for the moment, all of that's irrelevant. There can be little doubt that Mable Elmore will be returned this year. |

This former seat of political chameleon Ujjal Dosanjh has returned the NDP in every election since dual-member ridings in the 1980s with the sole exception of the 2001 NDP meltdown. The demographics of this riding are changing and in years to come this may shift away from being a typical NDP seat...but that's still a ways away. Definitely in the orange column on May 14. |

The NDP was over 50% in the last election and are up even higher now in the polling. No way is this going anywhere but back into the NDP column. |
