BCer seems to have mixed up his Cariboos (Oakes is running in North), but it's the right call. A nail biter in 2009 became a 21-point landslide in 2013 in the rematch. The NDP aren't doing well enough in the interior to have a hope of making up that ground and unseating incumbent Barnett. |

The much more Conservative (Read: BC Liberal) of the two Cariboo ridings, fairly popular incumbent, cabinet minister Coralee Oakes, should be re-elected easily, benefiting from having both the most BC Liberal-leaning suburbs of Williams Lake (Which is split between Cariboo-Chilcotin and Cariboo North) and the equally BC Liberal supportive communities of Hundred Mile House and Horse Lake. Easy BC Liberal hold. |
