Rose Marie Falk was first elected in a 2017 by election to replace long time mp Gerry Ritz in what has been a long time conservative riding in rural sask. There is a maverick party candidate here they seem to have candidates in all the rural sask ridings but none in Regina or Saskatoon .

Indeed, this--like any of these 3/4+-mandate rural AltaSask seats--might be one of those ‘watch Maverick’ situations. Though perhaps more like Reform in '88 than like Reform in '93--or something in between (particularly when it comes to Sask, where Reform's top '88 result was 6.6% in Kindersley-Lloydminster and nowhere else did they go much beyond 2%)

Driving 15AUG2021 from Loon Lake to St. Walburg to Paradise Hill to Frenchman Butte to Lloydminster I was shocked and surprised how many Maverick Party signs were up. Could the CPC have a fight on their right here?
