This will be a slam-dunk win for Sindi Hawkins, like all the interior, it's an easy liberal win.

The entire Okanagan valley voted Liberal in 1996 and that isn't about to change in 2001 - the Okanagan along with the Peace Region I beleive are the only regions of BC never to have voted an NDP MLA and it certainly isn't about to start in 2001 - Liberal landslide

Just a note, the NDP has won seats in the Okanagan in the past, Bill Barlee was a Cabinet minister from 1991-1996 and barely lost ot Bill Barisoff last time

I should have been more concise with my orginal post - I meant to say the central Okanagan ridings around Kelowna have never voted NDP - I think also that Vernon has voted for the NDP in 1991.

do not count out or under estimate Vogan for BC Unity. Remember, the only reason liberals got in Okanogan is that there is no one else. In fact, the liberals are not too popular in western Canada.

We're not talking about the same liberals as the federal liberals here w.m.
