Mcguinty was in the riding to visit the new Toyota plant but i don't see the riding as being competitive for the liberals or ndp this years , polls are very close provincially but Oxford is such a blue riding that only means its going to stay conservative. even when the liberals did great in 03 and 07 they couldn't capture the riding. Ernie Hardeman well not particulary well known outside of the riding has a strong following and well liked here from what i have read about him, a strong constituency mpp some might say.

Reinforcing the ?easy win? picture is that federally, the Liberals barely edged ahead of the NDP in 2008, and sunk to single digits in 2011. (Maybe the auto industry in Woodstock/Ingersoll is Oshawa-izing Oxford?)

Easy prediction call in Oxford. Expect the PC to break 50% this time.
