I hate to say it because I am NDP, but John Manley will win even though he's done nothing for the riding, because he's a Liberal and this riding always votes Liberal. |

If the Hockey bailout was still in the news then the opposition might have a chance. But now, especially with the shuffle to External Affairs, Manley will retain his seat. |

As if Grit tradition and ministerial gravitas wasn't enough, this is also where Ontario Liberal leader Dalton McGuinty resides. There's *possibilities", reflected in McGuinty's surprisingly small (under 10%) margin over the PC candidate in '99. But they're only that, possibilities. Beaker in Ottawa, Norman Bates at Queen's Park, once again. |
