| I think Judith Reid, MLA will be the hardest and most impreginable target to penetrate. You've got a smart, youthful, intelligent incumbent (a rare commidity) who's the INCUMBENT MLA for a riding that's been victimized by the evil NDP. Besides, the voters were smart enough to vote 2X for BC Liberal MLAs in the last elections (1996 General & 1998 By-Election) and if they all haven't gone insane, the NDP better find another riding to pick on. |

| No question this riding will stay Liberal. The incumbent won the riding without any serious challenge. |

| This riding will probably stay Liberal just due to the province-wide trend, but apparently Liberal incumbent Judith Reid is an anti-abortion fanatic with ties to the religious right. She was one of a handful of Liberals who broke ranks with Campbell to oppose NDP legislation to protect abortion clinics from attack. I just hope that voters in this riding know exactly what kind of a person they are voting for. God forbid that a someone with Reid's crackpot views has any influence over social policy in a Liberal government! |

| This riding will probably stay Liberal just due to the province-wide trend and yes, the MLA was raised to be a Christian and also values life. What's wrong with her going against abortion-which is a form of infanticide if you think about it? |

| Let's not renew the whole abortion debate. Fact is the pro-choice forces have won and people like Judith Reid better get used to the fact that they will NEVER get their way on this issue. Since Reid is a Christian fundamentalist, I wonder if she has hateful views towards gays and lesbians or towards Jews and other non-Christians? (bird of a feather flock together) Why is she in the Liberal Party? Shouldn't people like her be in the Unity Party alongside those Family Coalition Party types? "Liberal" is supposed to mean support for civil liberties and individual rights and opposition to any control by churches and other institutions. Why doesn't Gordon Campbell have thre courage to tell these Christian Right types "Go away, you are not welcome in my party! This is the Liberla Party, NOT the Canadian Alliance" |

| As I have worked with Mrs. Reid, MLA and done some research on her-I believe she does not have a heart of hatred and any accusation of such is WAY out-of-line just because she is a Christian and believes abortion is a sin. She's by no means a bigot. By no means. |
