Was surprised to see Plamondon to run here again this time. He is 76 yrs. old and has been MP since 1984. That said he'll get in again prety easily Bloc surge or not. |

Beyond Plamondon being Dean of the House, this is the only remaining seat in Quebec to be electing the Bloc continuously since 1993. (Of the other three survivors of 2011, two jumped parties and were replaced by Liberals; one retired and was replaced by a Conservative.) |

I said Manicouagan was the seat I was most confident would go Bloc, but Plamondon's seat of Becancour and Montcalm, I am also confident about. Here, Plamondon has been a strong MP here for years, and this area seems to favour the Bloc anyway. |

Louis Plamondon has 35 years of incumbency behind him. Just nine years to go to match and surpass the all time record of 44 years. Will he make it? Maybe, maybe not...he'll have to continue to serve into his mid-80's if he's to try... One thing's for sure: he will get four years closer to that goal. |

One of a few seats that I will say for certain is going BQ. Louis Plamondon is the Dean of the House of Commons. He has been re-elected through thick and thin since the early 80's. I'm sure he'll be re-elected again. |

Louis Plamondon resists since 1984. It will be his 11th election. With the collapse of the NDP in Québec, it will b an easy win for Plamondon. |
