This had been a long time Bloc Quebecois riding except 2011 when it went ndp, bloc are polling well enough in Quebec that they should hold the seats they already have such as an incumbent like Michel Boudrias .

Were the Bloc to have returned to double-digit seat totals, this is the kind of seat you would have expected them to reclaim. And surely enough, they returned to said totals, and this was one of them. (Liberal strength's mostly concentrated in the extremities--Charlemagne to the E, a certain degree of "Lorraine spillover" to the W.)

This has been a good area for the Bloc and PQ, both parties only lost during their bad elections (2011, 2018 respectively), and so that trend sets Michel Boudrias up for re-election. The Liberals could invest resources into winning this, but other ridings will be higher up the list for them, and for those reasons I expect Boudrias will have an easier time than some of his colleagues, although most of them are in a good position.
