Ben Lobb was first elected in 2008 and re elected in every election since. This riding had been liberal in the 90’s but historically a long time conservative riding in rural south western Ontario. James Rice is the new liberal candidate and 2018 provincial ndp candidate Jan Johnstone the ndp candidate.

Unless the CPC really screws up, and even that might not be enough, they have this seat

A Trudeaumania-fueled 5-point close-call gap in '15 got tripled in a '19 rematch: an archetypal story for rural Southern Ontario. In a real CPC-debacle scenario, maybe Lobb would be brought to a skin-of-the-teeth margin a la what he brought Paul Steckle to in '06. And Steckle Liberalism is a no-go in Justin's party.
