Long-time PC riding plus a senior minister for Doug Ford equals another PC win here on June 2. |

Unlikely in any case that incumbent MPP and Minister Caroline Mulroney will lose here, but I think a better than expected showing for the PCs will ensure a strong victory. |

The controversy over the Bradford Bypass proposal might lead to some electoral "Deflower Caroline Mulroney" wishful think; but there's a reason why she occupies the Transportation Ministry beat, and it's because in electoral practice, the controversy's "containable" or frameable in outside-agitator terms (fortunately or unfortunately). She was majority in '18 in every poll but seniors' polls and the Georgina Island reserve. And given the unpredictability and fickleness of ethnoburbia, she might be safer than her party is even in Markham-Unionville and Thornhill. |

Caroline Mulroney first elected here in 2018 a long time pc riding just north of the city. Unclear who the other candidates are . current mpp is well known and likely she holds the riding. |

One of the safest Conservative ridings in Ontario. It will remain blue in 2022. |
