PC's should hold this. What will be more interesting is how Ontario Party leader, Derek Sloan, does here. I figure he'll get around 3 to 5 percent of the vote. |

Since my first post has been some candidate changes here , Ric Bresee is the new pc candidate in a riding that typically favours the pc. former cpc mp turned fringe party leader Derek Sloan is running here. he’s spending most of his time touring the province in an effort to help out his Ontario party candidates so unclear how much time he’s actually spending here. despite being mp for 1 term he doesn’t really have deep roots in this area from what I read so tough to say how he’d do here as a provincial candidate for a smaller party. Eric Depoe is new ndp candidate and Ted Darby liberal but neither well known enough to pose a challenge here. |

Ontario Party leader and former federal Conservative MP Derek Sloan is running here to succeed retiring MPP Daryl Kramp. He might manage somewhere around 5% if he's lucky, but Loyalist Township mayor Ric Bresee will almost certainly retain the seat for the PCs. |

For the Tories to nominate the mayor of their weakest zone in the riding--Loyalist Twp--shows that they have their strategic thinking caps going. But other than that, the big wild card is, needless to say, Derek Sloan--though not nearly as wild as he dreams if we go by his wife scoring 1.5% and last place as a federal Independent in '21. |

Long time conservative mp/mpp Daryl Kramp just announced his retirement , he?¢â‚¬â„¢s only been mpp since 2018 but had been mp for a large part of same riding previously. This riding has been liberal in years past but more pc mpp?¢â‚¬â„¢s in recent years. unclear who the candidates will be here but feels it leans pc as things stand now. |

The PCs should make easy work of a riding they easily won in 2018 quite handily with heavy PC support. |
