Val Anderson is the social conscience of the Liberal party - performs well in the House and always speaks to the topic from the heart - could be a cabinet minister - social services or community development if he wants it.

Without a doubt, Val is going to win by huge margin. What surprises me is that he actually runs again. Val is well respected for his real liberal views, which will not gel well with the right wing Campbell government. Val’s situation is similar to Doug Symons (Richmond Centre): senior in the caucus, left leaning and moderately high profile (ie not high enough that Campbell has to give a post to, like Colin Hanson or Christy Clark). Doug wisely avoided the possible humiliation of not getting a cabinet post by retiring. Will Val face this embarrassment?

Val Anderson is going to win by a landslide. This is a strong Liberal riding. I have only seen I NDP sign in the riding. Where is the NDP. The Green's will be the runner up.
