This is only open for the Liberals to win. The local MLA has managed regularly to screw up so that the Liberals had to throw him out of caucus. This is a Liberal riding, they had their biggest win here last time. Nothing will change (Jeremy Dalton is history).The race here is during the nomination process. |

With only 13 points separating them in '96 (15% to 2), the Greens could eclipse the NDP to finish third or even second if Dalton does as badly as I expect he will. A lot of people who are curious about the Greens will feel less guilty about abandoning the NDP in such a safe Liberal riding. The Greens will pick up former PDA supporters as well. |
