Luc Berthold was first elected in 2015 and re elected in 2019. This riding has been conservative since 2006 when Christian Paradis first elected mp. well known incumbent so likely to stay cpc.

Berthold's baptism-by-fire (almost literally, when we're talking about the Lac-Megantic riding) was '15. Toeing across that line, he reinforced things w/a confident near-majority in '19 (and he even won Lac-Megantic w/35%, twice his third-place '15 share). Can't see much impediment now that w/Blaney's retirement, he's the QC CPC incumbent running w/the highest share.
